Winners have been celebrated at 2023 Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards,
the only awards program to recognize innovative achievements in business
throughout the entire Asia-Pacific region, June 27. SM China stood out from
more than 800 entries in the 29-nation APAC region and brought home six Asia-Pacific
Stevie® Awards for its great innovation in marketing events.
Determined by the average scores of more than 150 professionals
around the world, SM China received one Gold, one Silver and four Bronze Stevie
Awards. 1864 Panda Tour Exhibition@ SM Xiamen was honored with the only Gold
Award in Non-Profit/NGO Events Innovation category, and Finite Paper Infinite
Love @ SM City Chongqing, a Bronze. A Silver and a Bronze in the category of
Innovation in the Use of Events were separately awarded to SM Xiamen for A Healing
Christmas and SM City Zibo for Unbounded Players. SM City Tianjin won a Bronze
for 2022 Rebuild Project. Refreshing Min-nan Culture proposed by SM City
Jinjiang and SM Xiamen was cited as Bronze Award for Innovation in Community
Relations or Public Service Communications.

Panda Tour Exhibition @ SM Xiamen
Around the International Panda Day in 2022, SM Xiamen joined hands
with OPF to gather 1,864 paper sculptures of giant panda as a public tour for
the first time worldwide, telling stories vividly on a scientific basis for
biodiversity protection. SM sufficiently mobilized its resource advantages of
being reachable online and offline around cities also. The 11-day event have
attracted more than 620,000 people and 30 plus media with the exposure of more
than 780 million.

Healing Christmas
During the Christmas season of 2021, with the cooperation of
multiple companies, SM Xiamen consolidated the healing power of green plants
and laughter to build a Christmas tree as well as comedy performances,
attracting visitors and bringing them warmth. The foot traffic has an increase
of 102% versus 2020, meanwhile, the target audience was precisely reached with
exceeded 41 million media exposure.

Metaverse Unbounded Players
To meet the consumption demand of young generation and young
families, SM City Zibo integrated multiple business formats and brands across
the industries and started the engine of diversified experience by successive
activities such as music festival, camping festival and car boot sales etc. at
its 22,000-sqm outdoor space. The campaign was reported by about three dozens
of news, reaching 14.35 million media exposure.

Paper Infinite Love
Cooperated with PaperPlays, Chongqing's first paper art brand, SM
City Chongqing built up an artistic paper forest containing the elements of
2022 Earth Hour, 2022 World Earth Day, creative and green lifestyle. Many
community schools and non-profit organizations were invited to turn waste into
treasure, exploring more possibilities of paper for sustainable life. Over
600,000 people participated.

Project
SM City Tianjin launched Rebuild Project in 2022 Q3, adhering to
the idea of 'Never Stop Exploring Ourselves' and making 'Possibilities' happen
anytime with infinite fantasy. Rebuild Project comprised of City Assembly
Order, Colorful DNA Games and 404 Not Found '_' Market, which attracted
abundant young customers. It's a sum of fashion, sports and social elements
with foot traffic of 2.765 million, tenant sales increase of 30% and media
exposure of 28.85 million, maximizing the mix of different industry resources
and improving mall's regional influence.

Min-nan Culture @ SM
Rooted and grew up in Southern Fujian, SM Xiamen & SM Jinjiang jointly
initiated the campaign during 2021 traditional Chinese Spring Festival. Gargoyle-themed
exhibition and events at SM Xiamen along with Min-nan Dialect-themed Park at SM
City Jinjiang were built up to offer customers with immersive experience,
refresh citizen’s impression of Min-nan culture and stimulate tourists’
interest via creating a platform for Min-nan cultural artists. The campaign conveys
SM's deep affection for traditional culture and deepens the emotional
connection with communities nearby. The traffic during this period boosted by
319%, while the media exposure reached over 28.69 million.
